Cracked hoof walls, slow growth or brittle horn cause sensitivity or limitations and are a sign of poor horn quality. As running animals, horses are dependent on good hoof quality.
SPEED HOOF Boost gives the hooves of your four-legged friend the necessary nutrient boost that they need from the inside out for optimal growth and elasticity. Organically bound zinc is the most important trace element, which in addition to supporting the horse’s hooves also has a positive effect on skin and hair, and ensures a silky coat shine. To harden the hooves, HOOF Boost contains biotin, which can also stimulate the metabolic functions. Diatomaceous earth additionally strengthens hoof, tendons, bones and ligaments through the production of collagen.
Good to know: It takes about 8 months for a hoof to be completely renewed. For this reason, it is advisable to feed SPEED HOOF Boost in long term, rather than as a temporary supplement.

Feeding recommendation: In order to achieve a lasting effect, we recommend a feeding period of at least 8 months. Feed 3 – 4g per 100kg of bodyweight per day for up to 8 weeks, then take a feeding break of 2 weeks and repeat. 1 measuring spoon corresponds to approx. 20g. Sufficient for a large horse (500kg) approx. 75 days
